SYNOPSIS (ENG)

A group of children create a system to communicate with the islands in the far south. Through play, they transmit their voices and the soundscape of their daily lives, while imagining the possibility of connecting with Antarctica. Together, they will achieve their goal if they manage to keep all the channel participants on the same frequency.

As they play, they're transmitting their voices and their soundscapes, while imagining the possibility of tuning in to Antarctica. Together, they will achieve their goal if they can get everyone on the channel to stay on the same frequency.

Journalist and audiovisual communicator. Researcher for the feature film “La reinvención agraria” (Juan Francisco González, 2019). In 2020 she co-directed her first short film “Aukinko, el eco de todas nosotras”. Since 2023 she has directed “Canales australes”, an original creation of the AUSTRA Collective.
